Welcome to FIFA MANAGER 10 DEMO. The information contained in this document will help you on your way to becoming a top club manager. This document will provide additional information to what you receive in game. Also if you are experiencing technical difficulties, look here for the most recent troubleshooting answers.

In order to install and play FIFA MANAGER 10 DEMO, your system must meet or exceed the following minimum system requirements.
Operating system: Windows XP SP3 or Windows VistaÖ SP2
Note that Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows ME and Windows NT 4.0 are not supported.

Note: Users with these chipsets may experience low frame rates.
There might be some minor graphical errors with the Intel GMA 900.
Note: Intel i915g, Intel GMA X4500HD (G45) and ATI Radeon Xpress 200 are not supported.
If you experience problems, please contact your card manufacturer or chipset vendor to get the latest drivers.
Laptop versions of these chipsets may work but are not supported.
Please note that attempting to play the game using video hardware that isnÆt listed above may result in reduced performance, graphical issues or cause the game to not run at all.
Audio setup:
We recommend a 2.1 setup for FIFA MANAGER 10 DEMO. A 5.1 or 7.1 setup is not recommended.
All sounds output to all channels regardless of speaker configuration. This includes in front-end music, 3d match commentary, and all SFX. This is the case in all operating systems, all speaker modes, and for all audio cards.
The following audio cards output through 2.1 (front two speakers/subwoofer) regardless of speaker configuration in all areas of the game.
Quadrophonic/5.1/7.1 setups output at 2.1.

The following cards do not output sound to the center channel when configured for a 5.1 setup in Windows XP in all areas of the game. Rear, front, and subwoofer output normally.

TerraTec Aureon 5.1 Fun
The Hercules Gamesurround Fortissimo II exhibits audio corruption in the form of cutting in and out in Windows XP. The issue is noticeable in all areas of the game. Additionally, sound from the front speakers outputs very quietly even when the speaker volume is set for maximum. This issue only occurs in Windows XP.
The Hercules Gamesurround Muse XL exhibits distorted audio in Windows XP through the rear channels. This issue only occurs in the front-end and does not occur in 3d match play. This issue only occurs in Windows XP.

III. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
==============================
FIFA MANAGER 10 DEMO supports Windows XP SP3 and Windows VistaÖ SP2.
NOTE - To install the game properly on Windows XP SP3/Windows VistaÖ SP2, you will need administrator access to your machine.
Consult your Windows XP SP3/Windows VistaÖ SP2 documentation for more information.
In Windows VistaÖ classic start menu style, games are located in the Start > Programs > Games > Games Explorer menu.
You are also required to have DirectX 9.0c installed to play. This is included in the install and will prompt you to update if required.
After the installation is complete you should restart your PC.
Uninstalling FIFA MANAGER 10 DEMO:
In Windows XP, you can uninstall FIFA MANAGER 10 DEMO by accessing "Add/Remove Programs" in the Control Panel.
In Windows VistaÖ, you can uninstall FIFA MANAGER 10 DEMO by accessing "Programs and Features" in the Control Panel.
Some files (like save games) will be left on the hard disk after the uninstall process if you decide to keep them. You will find them in your personal folder.
It is not possible to run the game during the uninstallation process.

IV. GENERAL INFORMATION AND PERFORMANCE TIPS
============================================
FIFA MANAGER 10 DEMO is designed to run on Windows XP compatible graphics and sound cards. Drivers for these devices are provided by the respective card manufacturer and may result in compatibility issues beyond our control.
If you are experiencing any issues, it is always recommended that you obtain and install the latest drivers for your hardware. The majority of hardware vendors have the latest drivers available for download via their websites.
Most issues can be resolved by updating hardware drivers and is always recommended.
It is a good practice to ensure all your drivers are up to date where possible. When updating drivers it is a good idea to check not only display drivers but also soundcard drivers, chipset (motherboard) drivers and CPU drivers.
MP3 Player:
When choosing a custom directory for MP3 files, make sure that the full path name does not exceed 59 characters.
We recommend that you create a MP3 subdirectory in the FIFA MANAGER 10 DEMO directory and copy your MP3 files to this directory.
Configuration Files:
The configuration files (music settings, save games, custom training schedules and other User-specific settings) are stored in a subdirectory of your My Documents folder.
Squad Data:
The accuracy of the club and player data used in FIFA MANAGER 10 DEMO was verified on September 10 2009. Squad changes occurring after this date will not appear in game.

V. KNOWN ISSUES AND TROUBLESHOOTING
===================================
Task switching is not supported while running FIFA MANAGER 10 DEMO. If you use functions such as Alt-Tab and other variations then you may experience problems.
The installation of a second FIFA MANAGER 10 DEMO without uninstalling the original game data is not recommended. A new installation to the same path without uninstalling first can also lead to problems.
Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows VistaÖ have a feature called Fast User Switching which allows multiple users sharing the same computer to have individual profiles and to swap their current work spaces without logging off. FIFA MANAGER 10 DEMO does not support this feature.
Please do not start two instances of FIFA MANAGER 10 DEMO at the same time. They will not work correctly.
'Enter Player Information' Screen
On this screen the frame rate might drop on PCs with just one CPU core. The database is loaded and initialised in a second thread which will need more time but speeds up the loading process later.
'Ups and Downs' Screen
On this screen the frame rate might drop because many player heads are loaded. This is only the case if you speed up the display of the players.
Driver Problems
In rare cases drivers offer screen resolutions that are not really supported. In this case the game shows only a black screen and an error message.
If this happens please delete the following file and restart the game:
